Dynamics AX, SharePoint ,

AX and Project Server Integration

4. June 2010

I have been involved in a blog on the Microsoft Dynamics Community for some time now. This blog is about information related to the integration of Microsoft Dynamics AX and MS Project Server. There is a document that I have created to help people setup this integration, however the document is (or was) located on a free document site. This site no longer has the document. So I have created this blog so that I can store the document here for people to download, thereby ensuring that it is available for people going forward.

The original blog is https://community.dynamics.com/forums/t/12144.aspx

Here is the document if people need to download it: EPM to AX Config.pdf (1,013.75 kb)

Good luck Cool

Microsoft Dynamics + Office 2010 + SharePoint 2010 = The Future of Productivity

28. May 2010

Most of us are already using Microsoft Office, some of us have SharePoint, but for those with both of these and Microsoft Dynamics AX, the introduction of the 2010 version is going to leapfrog the way we get access to critical business information in our organisations. It will increase Access and enhace productivity.

The following is an extract from the recent press release about the integration of Office 2010, SharePoitn 2010 and Dynamics. There is also a pretty good video on the newsroom.

"The familiarity of Microsoft SharePoint and Office 2010 combined with simple accessibility to data in Microsoft Dynamics drives collaboration and helps customers strategically leverage IT investments to become more productive.

There was a time when the phrase “works well with others” belonged primarily in school report cards. But in today’s complex and interrelated IT landscape, working together is at the heart of productivity, with businesses demanding solutions that build bridges between disconnected business systems and enhance collaboration."
